با تلاش اسماعیل ویسی، اتحاديه سراسري كارگران فنلاند (ILO) طی نامه ای در تاريخ 22 نوامبر به سفير جمهوري اسلامي در فنلاند، خواهان لغو احکام زندان فعالين کارگری در ايران شد. اتحاديه سراسري كارگران فنلاند دولت جمهوری اسلامی را به پايمال كردن ابتدائی ترين حقوق شناخته شده کارگران در جهان و حقوق بشر متهم كرد و خواستار تغيير اين وضعيت شد.
همچنين اتحاديه سراسري كارگران فنلاند از دولت ايران خواست كه با توجه به عضويتش در ای ال او، بايد مقاوله نامه های آن شامل آزادی تشکل و اجتماع را رعايت کند.

نامه اعتراضي اتحاديه سراسري كارگران فنلاند

موضوع- محكوميت فعالين اتحاديه اي
آقاي جواد كاژويان- سفير جمهوري اسلامي- فنلاند
سازمان مركزي اتحاديه سراسري كارگران فنلاند محكوميت فعالين كارگري اتحاديه هاي كارگري مستقل شهر سقز در استان كردستان - ايران را، 18 ماه پس از دستگيري اين فعالين در جريان مراسم اول مه، محكوم ميكند.
در دادگاهي در نوامبر 2005 در شهر سقز محمود صالحي دبير سابق اتحاديه خبازان سقز و از همكاران كميته همبستگي ايجاد تشكلهاي كارگري به 5 سال زندان و 3 سال تبعيد در شهر قروه محكوم گرديده است. يكي از همكاران او جلال حسيني عضو اتحايه خبازان هم به 3 سال زندان ، محسن حكيمي ،محمد عبدي پور و برهان ديوارگر هم هر كدام به 2 سال زندان محكوم شده اند.
اين محكوميت ها نشان ميدهد كه حكومت شما بطور كامل به حقوق پايه اي اتحاديه اي و حقوق بشر بي اعتنا است.
عضويت در سازمانهاي اتحاديه اي در قوانين بين المللي كاملا برسميت شناخته شده و جرم نيست.
با توجه با عضويت ايران در سازمان جهاني كار، حكومت شما موظف به رعايت ازادي اجتماع و تشكل كارگري است.
اتحاديه سراسري كارگران فنلاند خواستار اقدامات ضروري است كه تضمين كند اين افراد فورا آزاد شده و احكامشان لغو گردد.
سرپيچي از قوانين بين المللي سازمان جهاني كار موجب بي اعتباري وجهه ايران و بي اعتمادي به حكومت آن ميشود.
ما اميدواريم كه بي گناهي اين كارگران در گامهاي بعدي دادرسي بطور كامل برسميت شناخته شده و به كنفدراسيون اتحاديه هاي آزاد كارگري اجازه داده شود كه نماينده اش را براي حضور در دادگاه بفرستد.
گزارش كنفدراسيون در مورد اين تخطي به "كميته آزادي تجمع و تشكل"، سازمان جهاني كار مورد حمايت كامل ما است.

Subject: Sentences of trade union activists

The Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions SAK condemns the sentencing of independent trade union activists from the city of Saqez, in Iran’s Kurdistan Province, eighteen months after they were initially arrested during a May Day rally. Under a verdict issued on November 2005, Mahmoud Salehi, former President of the Bakery Workers’ Association in Saqez and a co-founder of the Coordinating Committee to Form Workers’ Organisations, has been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment and 3 years in exile in the city of Ghorveh. One of his co-defendants, Jalal Hosseini, also member of the Bakery Workers’ Association, was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment. Mohsen Hakimi, Mohammad Abdipour and Borhan Divangar were sentenced to 2 years imprisonment.
We are outraged at these sentences, which show that your government utterly disregards fundamental trade union rights, which are human rights.
Membership of trade union organisations is perfectly legitimate under international law and cannot in any way constitute a crime.
By virtue of Iran's membership of the International Labour Organisation ILO, your government is bound to uphold the right to freedom of association and therefore also the right to organise.
The SAK therefore urges you to take the necessary measures to ensure the immediate release of these men and to annul their verdicts.
Iran’s failure to meet its international obligations towards the International Labour Organisation ILO tarnishes its image abroad and undermines international trust in its government.
We are expressing our hope that the unionists' innocence would be fully recognised during latter stages of the judicial process and that the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions ICFTU would be allowed to send its observers to future court hearings.
We fully support the ICFTU to report these violations to the ILO Committee on Freedom of Association
